Your tasks

  • General secretarial and administrative tasks to support the research group Spatial Interaction Ecology
  • Comprehensive operative and administrative support of the group leader for recruiting and managing personnel, budget monitoring, contract management and other processes in close collaboration with the relevant administrative units
  • Planning, organization, preparation and follow-up of appointments and events (e.g. workshops, summer schools, retreats) of the working group
  • Travel management for the working group (planning, organization, booking and preparation of receipts for settlement)

Your profile

  • Qualification as foreign language secretary or similar
  • Professional experience as a secretary and/or in office management
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English (spoken and written)
  • Experience with SAP (or similar systems) and good knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience in a science organization (preferably with an international orientation)
  • Very good knowledge of using modern communication tools
  • Reliable and independent mode of working
  • A friendly, flexible, motivated, and proactive person that pays attention to details
