Your tasks

  • Applying and advancing target and non-target LC- and GC-HRMS approaches to unravel complex chemical pollution patterns.
  • Linking analytically derived pollution patterns with toxicity profiles and identifying risk drivers using EDA approaches
  • Leading a joint European research activity with different European partners on investigating major sources of pollution of European surface waters
  • Contribution to a DFG project on textiles/laundry as a contributor to water pollution and practical supervision of PhD and master projects in the field

Your profile

  • PhD degree in environmental/analytical chemistry, environmental sciences or related fields
  • Experience in LC- and GC-HRMS screening of complex mixtures
  • Experience in data analysis with R
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Enjoyment in international collaboration
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently
  • Experience in supervision involving students and/or junior team members
