Your tasks

Support in data integration and synthesis, in particular in:

  • Analysis of coupled soil sensor, microbiome, root gene expression and morphology data from maize field and pot experiments using multi-variate fusion and integration techniques
  • Support in statistical evaluation of our data
  • Conceptual work, synthesis
  • Initiating and writing of integrated publications and meta-analyses

Your profile

  • Strong background in multi-variate statistics and/or data analysis for one or more of the above-mentioned data sources, including use of R
  • Skilled in scientific writing
  • PhD related to rhizosphere or root research, soil science, plant physiology or microbiology or statistical evaluations related to those topics
  • Very good communication & English writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and motivated to work in an interdisciplinary team
