The Department of Effect-Directed Analysis invites applicants for the: 

Postdoctoral Position (m/f/x)

Working time: 100% (39 hours per week), Starting date: 01.03.2021, limited for the period of parental leave (12 months)

Your tasks:

  • Establishment of GC-HRMS and LC-HRMS-based non-target, suspect and target screening of organic chemicals in house dust, sludge and other proxies of human exposure
  • Perform a case study on comparative analysis of chemical patterns in different proxies of human exposure
  • Supervision of PhD and master students

Your profile:

  • PhD in environmental sciences or environmental or analytical chemistry
  • Practical experience with LC-HRMS and GC-HRMS screening methods
  • Expertise in the evaluation of large data and in multivariate statistics
  • Organisational and communication skills
  • Willingness to take up new subjects
  • Ability to work in a highly interactive team
  • Very good ability in English communication and writing, knowledge of German language appreciated
